  • Comments Thread For: Michael Perez, Hernandez Provide Thrills in Puerto Rico

In as good an eight-round prospect clash as could be asked for, undefeated 20-year old Lightweight Michael Perez (11-0-1, 5 KO), of Newark, New Jersey, stayed that way with a rousing split decision win over 23-year old Jose Hernandez (10-4, 4 KO) at the Coliseo Samuel Rodriguez in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico on Friday night.

LOL if he wouldnt of given Perez one minute to recoupe, he would of gotten KO'd by a 10-3-4 with two week of training. start looking for another prospect plucker's!!!! LOL

I watched the fight, dude was taking lots of leather in the 3rd. Didn't seem badly hurt but was dazed. The timeout for the mouthpiece was over a minute, in the middle of a heavily dominated round. Not saying he would've been KOd but it was bad timing. Good fight though. Split decision was fair. I could see either winning, in favored territories.

Next weeks fights should be good too.
