Is Roach the most overrated trainer of all time?

Cus D'Amato is imo the most over rated ever, sure he invented the peak-a-boo style and had plenty of publicity but he only ever trained 3 champions and people are talking of him being up there with Ray Arcel and Futch, personally I don't get it.

Kinda over-rated but first thing. He does not pick the fights. He is not the one shielding Pac. Arum shields Pac. Roach will talk about fighting anyone and him and Ariza do the business.

He's no Angelo Dundee, sure.

However, he certainly rivals Manny Steward.

He doesn't officially picks the fights, but he certainly steers Manny into fights he knows he can win, and then proceeds to drain the opponents for insurance.

If not for Pac we wouldn't even talk about him.

I guess I was wrong, you know more than every person in the boxing world, except for Floyd sr, you and him are right. Especially the bwaa. You also know more than the legions of boxers that want Freddie to train them and their management teams and promoters who've actually been in the boxing business for decades.
And I also forgot you train at the wild card. So you can see on a day to day basis that roach, who was an assistant to eddie futch, has no idea what he's doing and is a complete phony.
