I know what it was. Wlad was afraid that after he murdered Chisora it would mess with his head and he would lose his edge and he wants to save all his rage for Haye.

Its not like hes taken much of a pounding in his career except in one fight. he's never even taken a punch hard enough to knock him down.
He got knocked down by a 38 year old golfer, and was KOd by Maskaev in the amateurs, and ducked Oleg his entire career.

But beyond that, Vitali hasnt really beaten anyone of note in 43 fights. The only two decent guys he fought he took a loss.

You got it backwards. It doesnt say much for Vitali that he couldnt beat a fat, unmotivated, aging Lennox.

Even Leon Spinks was able to beat an old fat Ali....The younger, stronger, bigger challenger should always beat the geezer.

You know, he beat the hell out of Lennox Lewis and was leading on cards. Lewis escaped from rematch into retirement at the age of 38.

Maskaev was good at ameteurs 20 years ago, so what? He was destroyed by a nobody by KO 1 recently. Sam Peter almost killed him in 2008.

he never beat the hell out of lennox lewis. It was a competitive fight with Vitali winning slightly. If the fight went on for 2 more rounds vitali would be injured for life.
