Now Juan Manuel Marquez is seeking Manny Pacquiao who is the current WBO Welterweight and WBC Jr Middleweight champion.


Some people are saying that the fight should be lower than 147 or at least 140 to augment the size difference? or maybe at a catcweight of 144. that means the chalenger is asking the champion for a catchweight? at least DLH didnt get smacked down after asking Hopkins to weigh 156.

The difference is JMM doesn't care about the belts. He just wants to fight Pacquiao at any weight, he would prefer the fight at 140 for no belt.

1. Pac's last 2 fights were at 147 and 150lbs
2. Pac has WBO Welterweight and WBC Lightmiddllweight belt
3. JMM doesnt have a belt or a single fight at 140
4. Pac got some flak for 150 cathweight againts Marg. Now JMM is asking him to go down?


5. Pac will ultimately decide and i dont think he'll approve 140.
