And that would be because Paul Williams is/was so insanely overrated.






Wont happen though. Zbik just isnt particularly good although one must admit that he has qualified for a titleshot.

What HBO should do is have a double header in March.

Have Martinez fight Zbik and on the under card have Andy Lee fight Dimitry Pirog.

Stage it in New York where Lee is a ticket seller. And, since Martinez is somewhat of a hot commodity right now that it might do OK TV ratings. But, I don't think it would cost much to make these fights happen for HBO.

And, then you can build up to the summer like for June or July to put Martinez in there(if he beats Zbik which I think he will) against the winner of Pirog-Lee(which I think it will be Pirog) in a unification fight.

Really? Who has he beaten that qualifies him for a title shot? He has a pretty record, but is beating Spada, once by a dubious decision, really a qualification? He wasn't even Euro champ, and it could be argued he was outside the top 10 of Euro middleweights, when he was gifted the "interim" title shot thanks to some slick promoting by Universum. Two of his three title defenses have been outright ludicrous opponents, and the other was Spada
