Ortiz got pitted against a puncher in Maidana, Jacobs went against a crafty EE fighter, Khan was pressured and ultimately took the fight with the Maidana, Ortiz is fighting a guy whose only loss is to arguably the best 140 lber out there. And had Peterson chose to outbox Bradley, the fight couldve been won or alot closer.

It wouldnt surprise me in the least bit to see Ortiz get beat by Peterson, and IMO it would be a easier fight for him to face Maidana. 3-1 betting favorites just mean more people bet on Ortiz to win than they do on Peterson. That has more to do with Ortiz being the bigger name than it does on there ability.
