wow a thread about a boxer who wont fight someone he beat already, twice. Although they were close fights he did beat marquez already, so he shouldnt have to keep proving himself with the same person. I can think of other boxers who really dont fight who they should sooooooooooo. soo have a nice day

You would think that Manny would not leave this doubt hanging around if it was thought to be an easy fight by those around him.

Unless of course it is the obvious and that is JMM is a tough fight for anyone that can't out range him badly. Also keep in mind JMM is driven by this fight so a driven JMM is tough to really call an easy fight to begin with.

I think that Marquez is pricing himself out of the fight or at the very least that Arum thinks he will make more money with a guy like Mosley ...... plus there will always be the question of weight (catch-weight). 140? 144? 147?

The above points are the roadblocks.

In my opinion, Manny has improved since then and has carried the power to the higher weights to the point that I see Manny either KOing or stopping Marquez.

Marquez has shown against Floyd that he doesn't belong at 147 and Manny still wants to maintain his 147 ideal fighting weight of about 143-144 as he still has a few fights that can happen at 147.

Maybe if Marquez can accept a fight of 143-144 and take less money, then this can happen. I say Marquez accepts the weight conditions as he was willing to accept Floyd at 147 at the end of things. Less Money? I don't think he will accept what Arum's thinking (back to the roadblock)

I consider OLD Mosley to still possess the punchers chance of defeating Manny since Manny does get hit occasionally. Plus Mosley will be the bigger man and can handle the 147 fighters. On the other hand, Marquez will not get the same type of respect from this Manny. Marquez would lose to Manny in my opinion.

Knocking down someone three times, then being lucky to get a draw is not exactly what I would call beating.

Certainly not a fight I would be talking loudly about.

Based on your logic, Marquez is scared to death of Chris John.

Pac was actually UNLUCKY for getting the draw. One judge admitted his mistake which could have given Pac the win.

And Pacquiao should've had a point taken away for hitting Marquez when he was down.

                    Right, or wrong?

He lost ten straight rounds on my card, he was lucky to even get awarded a draw.
