But Martinez gets high fives and butt slaps from fans when he calls out Mayweather and Pacquiao who never weighed over 150 at a weigh in? and will probably never be in the Welterweight division? It's more so Pacquiao because Pacquiao's been more active, but he spoke about Marquez being 3 weight classes smaller and Mosley being done. He acknowledges that they're both great but that Mayweather and Pacquiao's opposition don't compare to his, recently. He's being real in that sense.

In all fairness to martinez. He went winless last year - unfairly - and made much less money than he should have.

I don't want anyone to tell me that he shouldn't be looking at the high $ fights because they have been defending that same mentality from Pac.

I have no problem with a 35 year old who just fought Williams - Pavlik-Williams to pursue a couple of high profile fights.

To me, I see it as trying to quickly land a Pacquiao or Mayweather fight before running into any road bumps. Personally, I think Pirog can beat Martinez, Sergiy not so much and he'd certainly beat Cotto. He's trying to capitalize on his win over Paul Williams, thats how I see it.
