Drug Testing No Longer an Issue
"I agreed to take a test anytime, any day"
Pacquiao USA Today, Starting at 1:50
Freddie Roach on the subject (at 4 min)
JENNA: Freddie I have just a couple of more questions before I let you off the line. You mentioned Mayweather a couple of times on this show, and I know you have Margarito as the main priority on your radar, but when you look at Manny do you think he at all needs a win over Floyd Mayweather before he retires?
ROACH: No, you know with Floyd, the first time negotiations went sour because the blood testing and so forth. The second time around we agreed to everything. We gave him every opportunity to fight us. We agreed to everything he asked. You know what, Manny Pacquiao’s not going to miss Floyd Mayweather. If Mayweather doesn’t want to fight, if keeping that zero on his record is more important than making $60 million, then that’s his choice and we can live with that.

I know what you are talking about. But that TOTALLY contradicts what he says below. The point I'm making is this, THEY are all over the place. There is no clarity. Manny says one thing, Arum says another, and Koncz another.I am talking about the second negotiations.. Not the first one..

Now, this was right after that "deadline" they issued.
Arum declined to discuss purse-split negotiations but he said Pacquiao has agreed to submit to random pre-fight blood tests up to 14 days before a fight with Mayweather
A 14 day cut off does not get the fight done. So, when Manny does these interviews and says that he agreed to the testing and all of Floyd's demands and that he will do it "in between rounds", he is fooling you guys.Comment

“They stopped taking blood 18 days before [Mayweather-Mosley], so that shows that they can do it and be fine,” Arum would tell Lance Pugmire of the LA Times, explaining why he believes 14 days should be sufficient to satisfy Mayweather’s demands. “We’re saying the same thing, that if there’s information that emerges in the final 14 days, we can go to the [state boxing] commission and ask for more tests. We can work it out. No one’s looking to pull any fast ones.”Here you go, more fake articles

Please save this ***** for dumb people, Do you really think he would take a test in between rounds? Do you really think its possible to do that? This sound more like sarcasm from Pac than anything else, He isnt doing anything to make the fight happen that is extraordinary.Comment

That's the thing. He is throwing you guys for a loop. He says one thing one day, then another and another. All the while, contradicting himself and his promoter and adviser in the process.Comment

Consistently lying.. Or has a different position than Floyd when it comes to testing... Whether his reasons are absurd or not its what he feels...Whether the article is true or not is another thing, Since December 2009 Pac has flip-flop around the fight and testing, His fans have better excuses on why he doesnt want testing than his own team, He has been consistently lying but not called out on it because the media like him just like Mosley.
Mayweather from the beginning has said he wanted testing all the way up and that the only straightforward thing i could draw out of this whole little mess.
So if the article is true, then he compromised his beliefs just to make the fight happen on the second negotiations...Comment
