My friend who kickboxes and is a casual boxing fan always used to joke about my Duran t-shirt with the obvious 'no mas' thing and how he quit against Leonard (he has some cursory knowledge) then I finally mentioned that he had beat him before and he was shocked since he was convinced that Duran was a coward/bum just because of the 'no mas' line.

I was watching Pacquiao-Morales III in a bar at the same time as Sylvia-Monson (UFC) and some guy was trying to convince me that the MMA fight was more entertaining.

My dad likes to watch fights with me and he still doesn't know jack, it really kinda bothers me, same was the case with a few friends that regularly went to a bar to watch fights for like 3 years and they still didn't know what was going on. I don't understand watching a sport and not knowing the who/what etc, I only watch sports I enjoy and know about...the only equivalent I can think of is when watching some Olympic events just for the hell of it but even there if someone like Usain Bolt takes my interest I will find out about the rest of the field.

Now that is a real sports fan, no need to follow a certain sportsman lives that you even know the details up to what investment he is making or who's chick he's ****ing.

Did you know most *****s fit in that category? and then they also proceed to tell you "you don't know about boxing! Who is the boxer that blah, blah bla in 2001?, Can't answer eh?"

These are the most pathetic persons i have ever meet in this forum.
