But, you can not compare what goes on in Baseball, to what goes on in Boxing.

Baseball has always been a sport filled to the brim with cheaters. Many players (around the home run era of baseball, like the Mcguire's, Sosa's, and Bonds, Clemens, etc) were incouraged to do what was needed to put people in the seats...And Baseball turned a blind eye to all of the cheating and juicing. It was not until there were several sheets, from several different doctors (who were caught supplying) 100's of players with banneded substances, that Baseball changed their ways...

That is not the case for Manny.

Also assuming someone is one something, and then finding out about it, doesn't make you a prophet....There are still tons of guys to this day that have never tested positive for PED's and have been accused...TO, and Shannon Sharpe to name a couple.

Like I have said Manny times before...The only way Manny doesn't get caught (if he is on something banned) is if he is buying it out of someone's trunk...And I high doubt he, or his team is that ******. Ever person that has been caught, has a paper trail leading to a doctor of some sort...Well at least many high profile athletes, Tiger Woods for example.

Also: On the flip side of this topic, drop the demand, and we have a fight.

You know, I see alot of folks on this board have got caught up in the fact that Manny "has" to take the test, as if the commision is demanding it or something...That is not the case. Manny has every right to not take the test that another fighter is asking of him. Period! With that said, it is in every fans right to suspect him for that.

This will be the last PED/test topic I post in (**** is really old, and seems to be the only thing most can cling to at this point), but I think Manny is taking something, but I do not think it is a banned substance. You people do know that not everything you put into you body to help/increase proformence is banned, right?

That is the real question for me at least. Is what he is putting into his body banned, or not.

Sad fact of the matter is, even if he takes the test, and passes, many of the same cats crying about it will just believe he found a way to beat it.

Should Manny take the test? Sure, why not...Does he have to take the test? Hell no!
We know he doesn't have to. Have you any legit reason why he shouldn't? Any? And can we please stop making up our own defense for him? He listed all of his BS reasons - why is it that no one wants to take him to task for it? If Manny had outright said, "hell no!" like you just did, then you can state that case. Instead, he said yes, anytime and anywhere. Then 30 days. Then 24. Then 14. Supposedly seven. That muthaphucka is FRONTIN. And you know what's the response from the bleachers? "Well umm...drop the tests." Say what?? ****, after all of that...that's all the more reason to stand firm!

Well i just want to see Pac call Mayweather's bluff, Still can see how anyone in their right mind would back an athlete who made several excuses on why he cannot do a random drug test without looking for a cut off date.

That right there kills the whole "he doesn't have to" debate. You simply cannot ignore that and create your own defense for him. Can't create your own picture, take the facts for what it is. And right now, one guy is hopping from one foot to another about this issue. And truth be told, it should have never been an issue. It should have been as easily settled as everything else. Clearly, they don't want to call Mayweather's bluff. The question is...why? I know you hate my answer to that, Ray

Lil Floyd would beat 3 Pacquiao's in one night if the playing field is even...At the end of the day, none of these [expletive] care if Lil Floyd gets brain damage or dies in the ring, and that's from any fight, not just Pacquiao. Im his daddy and I care and Im the one advising him not to fight under any other circumstances. I want to see that fight too, but it has to be a fair fight. I think Floyd can whoop him with or without that **** in him, but why let my son take a risk that can be prevented. Take the tests and you got a fight, it's that simple. Floyd would love that fight," stated world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., who repeated Team Mayweather's stance on random Olympic-style blood testing leading all the way up to the bout if there's ever any hope of the two best fighters in the world facing off. You don't want to miss what else he had to say as Big Floyd shares his thoughts on a potential Pacquiao-Mosley clash and sets the record straight regarding comments he made that were taken out of context. Check it out!

            PC: How is everything going?

FM: Everything is going good man. I got a lot of things going on right now. I'm doing the book, I'm looking into a few reality shows, and me and Jack Mosley is going to do this tournament thing.

PC: I never heard anything about a tournament with you and Jack. What's that?

FM: Yeah, me and Jack going to be doing this tournament. I can't say too much about it right now, but like I said man, I got a lot on the table right now; staying busy.

PC: That sounds pretty cool man. It appears Mosley/Pacquiao will be out in Vegas in April...

FM: (Cutting in) They gonna check Shane good and not Pacquiao. Watch what I tell you. Shane is going to have to go through all kinds of ****, but Pacquiao won't have to. And then Pacquiao will beat Shane up and they will say, "Oh, Mayweather didn't do this and that to Shane, but Pacquiao did." The difference is Lil Floyd ain't got nothing in him.

PC: So you are still su****ious about Pacman?

FM: Is he willing to take random testing? Well, there is your answer right there. Believe me, if he would take the test with no cutoff date and all of that ****, there would be a fight. Lil Floyd would love that fight; trust me when I tell you. Lil Floyd would beat 3 Pacquiao's in one night if the playing field is even. ****, he would beat 3 and I would whoop 1 if the playing field is even. They talking about he don't like to give blood, but ****, Lil Floyd would have to give the same amount of blood. Who the **** likes to give blood? Listen to what I'm telling you man, if they are on an even playing field, Floyd would beats the **** out of Pacquiao.

PC: There were some reports that you were quoted saying you were scared for Lil Floyd to fight Pacquiao.

FM: That's just mother****ers trying to turn son against father. I said I would be scared for Lil Floyd to fight anyone that I felt like had an unfair advantage. That's what the **** I said. They can twist it however the **** they want to twist it, but that's what I said. At the end of the day, that's my ****ing son. That is my ****ing son and nobody else's son but mines. It's my job to look out for his best interest and I said I would be scared for my son to fight anybody who I thought had an unfair advantage. That goes for Pacquiao or anybody else. On an even playing field, I don't think nobody can whoop Lil Floyd. What the **** am I gonna say I'm scared for Lil Floyd to fight Pacquiao for? Come on man. Scared of what? Hey, just like Freddie "The Joke Coach" Roach didn't want Joe Cortez to referee that fight with Pacquiao and Oscar because he's Hispanic, it's the same reason I don't want my son to fight Pacquiao without blood testing. I wanna make sure the playing field is even, just like Roach wanted to make sure his fighter was getting a fair fight. At the end of the day, none of these mother****ers care if Lil Floyd gets brain damage or dies in the ring, and that's from any fight, not just Pacquiao. I'm his daddy and I care and I'm the one advising him not to fight under any other circumstances. I want to see that fight too, but it has to be a fair fight. I think Floyd can whoop him with or without that **** in him, but why let my son take a risk that can be prevented. Take the tests and you got a fight, it's that simple. Floyd would love that fight.

PC: What did you think of Pacquiao dismantling Antonio Margarito?

FM: I mean, here is a guy coming from 106 pounds fighting a guy 6 inches taller than him and breaking his eye socket…come on man. What you think? Something ain't right about that when no other mother****er in the history of the sport done that ****. He could have stopped Margarito. If this was the old days where the fights were 15 rounds, he would have stopped Margarito (laughing). Something ain't right about that.

PC: I'm not gonna keep you on Big Floyd. I just wanted to let you clear the air on the situation of you being quoted as saying you were scared for Lil Floyd to fight Pacquiao.

FM: Whoever twisted my words like that just trying to start ****. I appreciate the call and I'm glad you will put it out there just the way I said it. I said I would be scared for my son to fight anybody with an unfair advantage; that's my son. Hell, I ain't gonna send Lil Floyd in the street to fight somebody that I know has a gun. That's plain ******, so I did say I would be scared for him to fight anyone that I felt had an unfair advantage. Percy, you know if I thought someone could beat Lil Floyd, I would be the first to say I don't like that fight because I feel they are too big or too strong or whatever, but from this lil mother****er, hell naw man. I ain't said that at all. If they fight and both are being tested all the way leading up to the fight, Floyd would beat 3 Pacquiao's on the same night

mayweather is stickin' 2 this testing crap and its gettin' old already. i know pac looks suspect 4 not agreeing 2 the osdt...... raises a few eyebrows 4 sure but it sucks that this fight didnt happen already because of it when we have good boxing going on right now with the normal regulations in place.

Well that my point too, This stuff in 2009 or 2010 should never have been an issue, They made it an issue and am guessing that really do not want the fight, Because if they did am sure they would have called his bluff by now.. I dont think it can get any clearer when Merchant ask Mayweather live on TV what needs to be done to make the fight happen.. But am tired trying to make sense of this because people turn you into a Hater when all you're trying to do is look at things like any normal person should.

OSDT is not compulsory so why should he expect Pac to take them like it is a foregone conclusion and not an unreasonalbe request? Just to make PBF happy because he is nervous getting in the ring.?

Either PBF wants the fight or not? Its an excuse to get out of the fight by putting the onus on Pac, when it isnt Pacs responsibility to agree to tests! If Floyd is nervous of fighting Pac that is floyds problem, and PBF shouldnt try twissting it.

Yea, I want to see it too. But it won't happen. When they signed to fight Tony, they agreed to "all of his demands". Now, they are going to fight Mosley. Its crazy but I'm curious to see how things go with Mayweather's legal situations next year.

SCREW boxing. Man to man this is a health concern. You can get permanently injured, killed in that ring as it is. If I was a fighter, I'd want OST done for every one of my fights if it were available no matter the so-called ineffectiveness just to let everyone know I'm clean.

People sweeping this under the rug are really full of bloodlust and don't realize how sick in the head they are for possibly tolerating a doper in boxing. C'mon. Boxing? One of, if not the most violent and physically demanding pro sports there is?

And this goes for any fighter trying to hide behind excuses like being scared of a needle or harassment for even being asked. Anybody who won't stand and face the public, forget the other fighter, once the accusations really start to have merit, you deserve to be suspected. Fk it.
