Koncz completely missed the point.

The question was, why did Pacquiao refuse a reasonable catch-weight request from the LW Marquez, when he himself has used catch-weights on several occasions?

The question was about boxing integrity, and Koncz answered "Manny makes the rules".

explaining why pacman is asking for a catchweight is pretty easy... the man is small and the other guy who wants to fight him is tall so to make matters even somethings gotta give... the tall man cannot give up any height to make the playing field fair and pacman cannot grow tall also to make up for the height discrepancy... so the tall man has to give up weight to at least even things up. thats it can't blame a small guy for asking it!

just a thought though...if the PACMONSTER fought and won against bradley at 140 or sergio at 160...he would be holding 3 belts at the same time...WTF that would be awesome ...no point in fighting marquez at 140 coz he doesnt have a belt in that weight class, now if he has a belt at 140 then manny would i think consider marquez as an opponnent considering the history of him holding 3 belts in 3 diff weight classes at the same time is sick ...

that's how it is since the beginning, the draw and cash cow dictates the terms, even the greats such as SRR, SRL, ALI, etc etc...dictated the terms of their fight...why would you subject manny to your fantasies....
