Rubbish.

There should be no such thing as a catch-weight fight.

They should be completely abolished. Any type of event/bout that takes place at catch-weight, should be officially classified as an exhibition match, and should not be sanctioned by the ABC bodies.

There are only two reasons to demand a catch-weight.....

1.) you are not good enough to compete with that fighter at his natural weight, which deems the bout an exhibition match and should therefore not be sanctioned

2.) you are attempting to drain him to gain an unfair advantage

You're really that dumb.
There has been no issue when past greats (such as Leonard) asked for catch-weight against lalonde. Never been an issue with JMM and Floyd.

Suddenly became an issue when Pacman asked it against bigger guys.

So, Manny Pacquiao (Team Pacquiao Actually) have NO problems in asking a long time 154lbs fighter (who aslo had one fight at 160lbs...Oscar De La Hoya) to come down to a weight he hasn't fought at since 2001 (147lbs), and then requesting two WW fighters (Mosley and Cotto) to come in under the the WW limit. Now they want Marquez to come up to 147lbs?

Pac is the major draw so he should be on top of the negotiations w/ Marquez or there will be no fight as simple as that. Like the Floyd v JMM fight, Marquez can't come on top w/ the negotiations. That random blood test is already null n void, Pac has agreed to every test and Floyd has run out of excuses.
