Fres' manager, Tom Tatsas, was posting on Boxingscene a few days before the fight. I posted a message to Tom, stating to advise his fighter to press for the knockout and to fight with some urgency. Unfortunately, for Oquendo, they did not take my advise...

Fres Oquendo is a good boxer, they want Puerto Ricans to win by knockout, but they can't 100% of the time. It really hurts PR boxers when they can't win a fight without a knockout, like Fres Oquendo, Juan La Porte, and Luis Collazo, some examples.

I mean he could try but nobody knocks out Oliver McCall.

Not a free swinging Lennox Lewis, not Mike Tyson, no one.

McCall is a legend on the WEST SIDE!

He can be beat easy, you just have to outwork him and stay away from his right hand, and a quality guy will do well against him.

But knock him out, hell to the no.
