If anyone else beat Clottey and Marg, they would get mroe praise.
As for Martinez, Pavlik hasn't looked great recently IMO, and Paul Williams is only good at 147, let alone any higher.
Al;though Clottey is a decent fighter, he is about Pavlik';s level, while Marg at 150 to Pac is about what Paul Williams is to Martinez at that higher weight.

As I enjoyed a flex-time Monday off from the real-life day job, my intent for this very column was to do a West Coast interview with a budding filmmaker in the evening, assemble a few other notes and put together 1,000 or so words of ersatz brilliance as I revved up for Jets-Patriots on ESPN.
But some weeks – as Rex Ryan can now surely attest – are better than others.
As I waited for a few pre-interview logistics to work themselves out, I tooled over to check the latest goings-on at Facebook, where several of my colleagues periodically coagulate for discussions of all things boxing – be they historic, futuristic or controversial in nature. I NEVER SAW such haters in the boxing media.
If Pacquiao was an american from brooklyn,he would be their semi god.
Pacquiao is far to cherry pick and fighting bums like Jones and Mayweather did.
SERGIO IS THE FOTY YES!!!
But Pavlik and Williams aren't so much better than Margo and Clottey.
Just to say Pacquiao isn't so "unworthy",I would say he takes maybe the 2nd spot.

What is sad is that you're serious.
