As for Martinez, Pavlik hasn't looked great recently IMO, and Paul Williams is only good at 147, let alone any higher.

Al;though Clottey is a decent fighter, he is about Pavlik';s level, while Marg at 150 to Pac is about what Paul Williams is to Martinez at that higher weight.

Agreed! Why the f@ck with all the fuzz about Martinez being the leading candidate for FOTY?! Coz he beat a same size wash-up Pavlik and he KO's same size but overated Paul Williams, is that impressive?! Pac-haters like Lyle is suffering from "Dementia" thinking that Gayweather is still the No. 1 P4P boxer/ducker in boxing. Manny beat bigger and better guys. But still i gave props for Sergio for fighting his heart out... unlike Gayweather who is ducking and hiding from Manny?!

exactly bro.. that's what i thought so.. sergio is definitely a candidate for the FOTY but he's not on the very top.. what manny did on the ring this year cannot be duplicated be any fighter of recent times. he just beat clottey who never really lost a convincing fight until he fought pacquiao. then he beat up margarito into a bloody pulp who was 17lbs heavier than him.. this is not cherry picking at all.. sergio KOed williams, but, they don't have the same weight disparity as pacquiao/margarito or pacquiao clottey.. the thing is.. before pacquiao fought these bigger guys, the so called boxing experts said that pac's opponents were to big for pac.. but after pac destroyed them, they said that pacquiao's opponents are tailor made for him..

ironic isnt it?? oh well...its in the race...weater they deny it or they dont..they just cant believe that a guy from a poor 3rd world contry is in the top of the boxing world....now let ur imaginations work and tell me..
