Why cant American Fighters sell out Stadiums?

Mexico- has no problem selling out arenas with Saul Alvarez and other fighters and Boxing is embedded in their culture.

Ireland- My parents are from there and they sell out stadiums easily with Andy Lee and John Duddy

Germany- Wladimir Klitschko packs Soccer Stadiums.

England- Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe, and Amir Khan had no problem packing stadiums.

Canada- Lucian Bute, Jean Pascal, and David Lemieux can all pack houses.

Pacquiao vs. Margarito was two foreign fighters. Why cant American fighters draw big fan bases?

Because America sucks and so do American boxers.

          Yeah Floyd can.

I think stadiums can be filled out and do get packed for boxing in America but it is foreign fighters who are doing it like Pacquiao, Cotto, Margarito, soon to be Alvarez, Khan.

It just seems American fighters have an extremely hard time garnering a fan base.

And you should've stopped right here.

In America, you have to pay U.S. Dollars and a hefty price at that.

In Mexico, they pay pesos. The cost of a nose-bleed sectioned seat America would be enough to buy a front row ticket in Mexico.

It has to do with ticket prices and also location. Also there are so many good boxers in America. In those other countries they only have like 1 or 2 elite fighters so the country gets behind them because of the lack of talent in the country.

pretty sure every major boxing country has a fighter who can sell out a stadium.
