It take more than deserving a fight to make the fight happen. On the negotiation table, Pac dictate all terms for all his last opponents. That`the way it is, take it or leave it. Marquez doesn`t seems to understand that, he`s a class A fighter, but he`s not on a marketing level, he`s far behind Pac.

60-40? LOL. You really are dumb.
JMM doesn't attract hardly any PPV.

        Marquez doesn't have any fans.

Shane/Floyd drew 40% more than Marquez/Floyd and that was on MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY.

The casuals simply don't care about Marquez if you look at the numbers.

Even though Shane is a ****ty fight, at least Shane will draw more fans + ask for less money than Marquez.

Pacquiao should fight Bradley. Bradley is slowly becoming a star (12,000 arena fight?) and he will draw more than Marquez.

Same question I'm asking. Considering Freddie and Arum said
Mosley wasn't a big PPV fighter.

"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let
him fight Manny, "Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."

Mosley also made all sorts of concessions in a bid to entice Pacquiao to fight him. Mosley said he'd ask for only 40 percent of the money and was willing to agree to a contract weight somewhere in the low 140s to appease the smaller Pacquiao.

But nothing worked because Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, with no disrespect to Mosley, had designs on another fight for Pacquiao. Arum is moving forward with plans to match Pacquiao with his other big star, welterweight titlist Miguel Cotto. Arum says he is close to making the deal under which Pacquiao and Cotto will meet Nov. 14 in Las Vegas on HBO PPV.

Arum is about Top Rank and Top Rank ONLY.
Top Rank fighters are the most protected in
          the business.

            Clottey got like 10-90%
            Cotto got 35-65 %
            Margarito got 30-70 %

And some Marquez Fans here have the nerve to asked for a 40-60 split when he lost to the wifebeater FLoyd and got 100k PPV buys against Katsidis and Diaz... These Marquez fans have a Brain of Donkeys twisting stories.

Funny how they want Mosley now but before......

Roach said that though a “Mosley
fight is probably the most exciting because
they both like to fight,” it's all about making
              the fight on even terms.

I have to protect my fighter,”
              said Roach
              , who administered the terms
for Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya last year.
“I spoke to Shane and told him that
we would fight him at 142. He said
              he can’t make that weight.”

Mosley asked why not 147, as
              Manny/Oscar was set at 147?
Roach said that Mosley is not
De La Hoya in terms of setting
              a weight handicap
              .

Are you serious? You have to be joking me. Did you even
comprehend my post? Roach presented 142 LBS and Mosley
declined and asks why couldn't the fight be at 147 like it was
with Oscar and Roach said that he is not Oscar when it comes
to weight because Mosley at 147 (At that time) Roach felt
would be too much for Pacquiao. It says it right there in
BOLD letters. My point is. Mosley couldn't get next to
Pacquiao because Roach and Arum felt like he was too
good after his Margarito win and wasn't a big draw but
now all of a sudden Mosley is the man to face Pac next.
