I think it would have happened if Tszyu had beaten Hatton. Because at the time Mayweather was interested in a fight with Tszyu or Gatti[140], Tszyu lost to Hatton in the same month Mayweather beat Gatti. He also wanted DLH and Mosley[147] and the 3[Gatti, Zoo, May] were all at 140 but then you know this guy retired after quitting against Hatton.

After Floyd fought Bruseles, I think it was that fight, in 2005 he called Tszyu but if I remember correctly Tszyu was about to fight Hatton then of course he lost and that fight never happened.

So no he didn't duck him, just bad timing.

Yea I did still reading both threads, while staying in touch with this thread and a couple others.

this convo has been going on awhile. and um, er, that guy was clearly pretty passionate about that position way back then.

it was fun to go back and read the goos 'ole days. Because even when people were unreasonably fixated on their favourite fighter, they would still be respectful towards other posters.
