I agree with you Flint. I hate Chicken DLH, but he was absolutely right when he said Pacroid beats fighters on the scale. He agreed to fight Chicken at 147, but insisted on fighting Cotto at 145. Now he wants Marquez to come up to 147 when Pacroid could easily make 140 or his favorite: a catchweight.

of course he is not ready for manny and would get worked over nasty but like oscar and now saul said, they are in no rush and he will continue to progress until the time is ready for him to get his big opportunity. the kid has a big, big future thats for sure

Yes. These young boxers don't get it. They think fighting superstars is the only way to become big. You become big by fighting whoever is presented in front of you and make your fights as impressively as you can. All time greats didn't necessarily fight superstars. Right now Saul is still just an average champion. He needs to do more than fighting and winning. He can be a big name fighter all by himself by doing the right thing.

Right now the only fighter that could possibly become another big star is Amir Khan even without fighting either Pacquiao or Mayweather.

if managed correctly, i have no doubt that canelo would be a certified superstar. just don't throw him yet on the lion's den because of the money. money and fame will come naturally as you impress on your upcoming fight.

but at least he has the cajones to fight pac. but i advise him to take it slowly..

take a boxing lesson, get a manager and a promoter, win good fights, then ask pac for a fight you will see if he is a fraud or not.
