No, hes just the 100th Mexican Pac will fight, but Pac will avoid Puerto Ricans like Luis Collazo, and Haitians like Andre Berto, and African American fighters too.

        1) Collazo would net Pac a guarantee of about 5 pesos.

        2) Andre Berto hasn't fought anyone yet, yet receives a high guarantee from HBO, and has yet to face an elite welterweight. He deserves to cash in on his "lottery" ticket now? Let him put in some work first before he gets to cash that ticket.

        3) Name another african american fighter worthy of being in the ring with him...besides Mayweather? And by that I mean skill + "marketability".

As a promoter you don't maximize revenue by selling a fight to hardcore fans (unfortunate), you maximize revenue by selling outside of that group, which is what motivates Arum.

get in the back of the line missy. Canelo's style is no different from Cotto's. They're almost identical. Flat footed, strong, fades as the fight progresses. It'll be an easy fight for Pacman.

i love how these untested prospects expect to jump to elite paychecks without paying their dues... get in line canelo.

regarding flint, this kids not a boxing fan... LOL.
all he does is parrot floyd quotes and sniffs mayweather's panty waste...
this floyd groupie actually JUSTIFIES floyds vacation & legal troubles. LOL.

people forget how NOBODY gave a **** about floyd before oscar fought him... did people forget floyd's desperate attempt at fame??? using WWE & 'dancing with the stars' as a platform for recognition???? most fighters attain their fans from their ring performances... floyd relies on pre-fight hype & controversy... no matter how gifted floyd is, his style will never bring in NEW fans to boxing... since when did technical defensive boxers become PPV draws???? winky? b-hop? pernell? even jmm had to open up his offense for him to start getting fan support.

back to canelo, this kids future is bright. slow n steady is good.

interesting comparison, i never thought of it that way.
canelo is definitely more explosive though. his combination punching against n'dou was nice... is it me, or does canelo open his mouth & stick out his mouthguard waaaay to much?

Manny will go down in history as someone great who has done
                    Unprecedented feats in boxing.
Being an opponent of Pacquiao is something very
special that they will tell their grandchildren.
"I fought the only man in history to ever hold titles
in 8 weight divisions.". That is a thing worth remembering
and telling people in later years of life.
"I ducked Pacquiao and retired undefeated." That's another
                    story!

.....then why does pac or someone from his team mention floyd everyday like he ****ed them last night and didn't call again. Seems like reguardles of these "great" feats and absolutly ridiculous claim of eight titles (as if any belt means **** anyway) that pac's camp seems to be the one's riding floyds cack.....floyd has obviously shown he could give two ****s whether he fights pac or not. As far as saul alvarez beating pac........only the ******ed crap khan says is more laughable.
