He's been on tear as of late, but his level of competition has been underwhelming. I'm not trying to hate it's not his fault. I know he's suffered loses before like the one to Sanders but what do you think beats him? I've noticed that many of the HW he's fought recently are in terrible condition. You must be in great shape to beat either Klitschko brother, or have KO power. The only current heavyweight I give a slim chance against Wladimir is David Haye due to his power.

What? He has been fighting undefeated Gold Medalists who also happened to be world champs, mandatories, and a stack of undefeated guys... WTF are you talking about?

Look at how many world champs, undefeated guys, Ring top 10 rated guys he has fought since the Brewster loss, then come on here with this ****...

I know he's fought the best competition he could, but come on these guys haven't been top level HW, when compared to top HW from previous eras. Has Wladimir ever even beaten a HW as good as a prime Evander Holyfield? Again this isn't really his fault.

Again? Other speaking subjectively based on your own opinion, do you have proof that this is the case? If you remember, Wlad fought a lot of 90s guys who were champs or legitimate top contenders and crushed them - Mercer, Rahman, McCline, Barrett, Jefferson, Botha, Schulz, Byrd (twice)...

        FAIL....

A really good body puncher, but heavy weight is fresh out of those, sam Peter is an idiot,or his trainers are just ******!!There are no body punchers at heavyweight right now, that's why all those smaller head hunters are getting pounded!!You can't out **** a Klitchko by going to the head, when they're reach is so much longer than yours!!

Okay, I'll play your game are any of the names you listed as good as Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Larry Holmes, etc. in your opinion? Stop being so sensitive I'm not trying to knock Wlad, you didn't even attempt to answer the original qestion in the opening post.

Fair point, I just wish more of today's HW stayed in shape.

No way, body punching isn't going to do it, to get to the body means closer work than going head hunting, and Wlad will just tie you up on the inside or catch you coming in. The most successful blueprint was Sanders, a southpaw with a long reach that went after Wlad as soon as the bell rang, the Purrity and Brewster losses were the result of Wlad beating the snot out of them for every round and getting gases, he has paced himself more so you are never going to see that again. Again, Sanders (who was a head hunter and not a body puncher) is the only blue print out there to beat Wlad, and that's not a good thing for Wlad's opponents because that was years ago and under a different trainer, he doesn't fight like that anymore plus that was the case of Wlad severly underestimating Sanders.

Another guy who had success against Wlad, albeit limited, was Mercer with his jab, he marked Wlad up somewhat. But he also had a rock hard chin to go along with that jab to withstand serious punishment.
