I'll be rooting for Montiel for sure I think he's gonna pull of the upset....yes I know so many people rank Nonito so high on skill alone, but his resume is pretty weak if you take out his one great win against Vic

I know, I can't wait! I think both fighters want it too based on what donaire said after the fight and what Montiel said on his twitter after he saw the fight.

Here comes the Nonito fight, pray to god he wins and he doesn't get cut so the fight against me can be made on February.

This fight has epic written all over it.

What a great fight, man I hope this comes off.

I have always liked Montiel, but I got Nonito if this fight gets made.

After seeing that Donaire did to his last opponent, Montiel is more likely to be the one who backs out lmao

Did you see what Montiel did to Hasegawa and Castillo? Those are REAL fighters, not those scrubs donaire is fed. Why would Montiel fear donaire for dominating a bum. Last i checked he went 12 with conception, Montiel KOed him in three. If anything nonito is ****ting his pants, which is why it took so long for this fight to unfold. Lets see if the fight gets made

So what Donaire did to his last opponent is worse than
what Montiel did to Hasegawa bull

you all are delusional and nutthunging

Donaire back out from the fight with Montiel because of the purse difference which was very unfair for Nonito who holds a higher P4P ranking than Montiel.
