These pictures are a good answer to earners question. You can defintely see water weight from his Marquez weigh in. Just look at the abs. He is definitely less defined now. Less striations in the chest, etc. Biceps are less defined, shoulders are not as striated
That's what I was asking - when guys like Corrales and co. don't have to cut weight...
Ehh, forget it Ali.
I am pretty sure if they thought they could still get better and improve and believed in themselves like pac always stresses improving, that he can still get better. If they believed that I assume they'd be training to get even better. Not everyone can be like Mike though no matter how hard they try. Floyd, Manny, thats what makes em special.
I get what you are saying. From the looks of things he has gained significant muscle mass. Without that he'd be blown away at these higher weights. He probably gains a bit more weight after the weigh-in probably because he's eating freely while the strenuous training is now done, fight night is the next day.
I think the point of speculation is being missed because guys like Alibata incorrectly think he is the same fighter at 130 that he is today. I think you and I both conclude he has gained some mass on him and is indeed a bigger fighter
the question to the point is how. That's all.
and when people bring up Bradley and go "well look at how ripped he is" I think are missing the point as well. Tim has been at 140 forever and clearly looks the same from his first fight at 140 to now.
Manny looks essentially the same or close enough to the same and has ascended up in weight.
that's a difference even if people don't see it
anyways this speculation drives me bonkers because it turns guys like Ali into scholars lol
