No, its not easy.

Many people for years said he was a bum who didn't even deserve a chance in the ring with any of the welterweight divisions best fighters, even though he held a belt longer than any of them. They said, "he has nothing to offer anyone and would get beat by them anyways."

so what makes Shanes victory over him so great all of a sudden?

Thats what I'm questioning, how is a victory over a supposed bum,

I know that, but I'm saying, for years, many fans of other fighters simply relegated him to "bum" status because he was, "slow, plodding, had no defense, no offensive technique, etc., etc.",


so if they many of them said all of that about Margarito throughout the years,

why is he suddenly this great victory on Shanes ledger?


Its like the Lakers beating the Clippers and Laker fans saying it was their greatest victory of the season.

Margarito is no bum or hype job for that matter. Simply put in his prime he was a good fighter with an excellent chin & a few deficiencies, he won 3 world titles ffs.

It remains to be seen if the Tornado is indeed still at an elite level though.

I just don't see how a KO victory over a supposed bum is somehow a great accomplishment. KOs over bums are supposed to happen.

Well, your asking the wrong guy, cause I don't hold a margarito win in such high regard, he lost to Daniel santos, picked up a vacant title, and lost to Clottey. And Paul Williams, Shane Mosley, and Manny Pacman all dominated him. Margo fan boys just won't let it go, but I belive the majority sees Margo as the bum, he really is now.
