Mayweather barley uses it but is effective, Pacquiao's last 5 opponents have out jabbed him and with Mayweather's speed he will land and a bigger %. Floyds size and reach will make it effective... this fight could be lopsided for Mayweather even though alot of you wont think so


Mosley looked small against Mayweather, Pacquiao is small compared to Shane...Mayweather's size and reach will win him the fight, and his jab and counter rights!

Maybe he killed JMM with the jab, against smaller guys that is what you are suppose to do keep them at the end of your stick and they really can't do anything since they will never make it into range and be in position to really take advantage of anything.

I don't think it's that, Personally I think Pacquiao is open to the right straight. Not as open as he used to be like the first Marquez fight as he obviously can defend it better now but if you watch the fights against Marquez I and II and Clottey whenever he was hit it was the right hand.

Cotto is a converted southpaw (southpaw that fights from an orthadox stance) which is why his jab is so powerful and his right hand isn't so he couldn't take advantage of that. Margarito doesn't have a great straight right and Clottey can't do both offence and defence at the same time. Mayweather would trouble Pacquiao with the right hand all night long

However, I also think Mayweathers defence is more open to southpaws (Judah uses the same defence but since he's a southpaw Orthadox fighters can get around it) it's a double edged sword.
