    Did Mayweather hold back against De La Hoya purposly?

    To make it look like it was close So they can get an immediate re match and make another 250 million bucks? then realized how boring the fight was and nobody wanted to watch it? I heart people think that? what u think

        yes it looked like a fixed fight to me. neither guy threw any punches with bad intentions till the final 5 seconds just to give the crowd something to look forward to in the rematch! they wanted it to look close so they could sell a rematch but they also wanted to make it look exciting but all the potshots and ineffective flurries failed to do that. it's even possible hoya demanded to win the rematch to setup a trilogy so that's why floyd pulled out. boxing=wwe

            No, but I think GBP made it a SD to make it "seem competitive" in order to sell a rematch.

              im starting to wonder if something like that would happen against Pac-Mayweather.

                couldn't golden boy easily pay off 2 of the judges and give hoya the win which would force mayweather into taking the rematch? floyd swindled hoya and walked away from the rematch he was supposed to lose. his ego wouldn't let him lose.
