This shouldn't be surprising since ol' Bob already told us he only cares about money and not what the hardcore fans/writers want. What a joke

Does Pacquiao not question what motives Arum has for fighting fighters from his stable? Say what you will about Oscar, but he fought the fighters you wanted to see him against regardless of what promotional company they were from.
Pac knows, like Floyd knows like Oscar knew as a fighter and now as a promoter. I do have to say Oscar had more balls to fight whoever but, win or lose Oscar was gonna be Oscar. I'm not sure we can say the same of Pac/Floyd with the worshippers they have.

I wouldn't be hopeful about it. Arum showed Cotto and his team the difference in money and turned the thought of a Martinez fight into a memory.

Why fight Martinez for $3+M, when you can fight Margarito for $5M and if you win then Pacquiao for close to $10M?

Arum's greediness is only matched by Wall Street execs.

If Mayweather *****es out, a Martinez fight or Cotto vs Pac rematch at 154 with no catchweight would be the better options. Bradley, Alexander or Berto bring nothing to the table and Pac would easily beat the **** out of them. As for Marque.z I could careless about that fight he would get stopped in 3 or 4 rounds.

I think Bob is trying to get Cotto or Margarito another big payday. Manny has nothing to gain from beating either of these two again except money. Cotto/Margarito should be a major PPV and after that whos the winner gonna fight for a bigger payday than Pacquiao? Nobody. Martinez is a 160 lbs and has never been a PPV draw.

They have each already proved themselves in the sport and its all about getting money for retirement now.

Even if they lose, I believe they'll retain their level of revenue and popularity.

There might be a few less *******s or *****s here, but Mayweather and Pacquiao are already in the casual fans consciousness. Casual fans give them those numbers and as long as you give them a good fight or controversy, they'll be back.

Tyson, Holyfield, and De La Hoya were all able to recycle their names after losing a fight. Mayweather and Pacquiao will too as long as they're involved in big fights with the machine behind them.

A Manny x Cotto fight AT 150 would be a fight i would want to see. Cotto with Steward in his cornor is a Wayy better fighter then the Cotto of the past. I remember when they first fought Steward mentioned that IF Cotto hired him to train him he would KO Manny. Now its a pretty big statement but Steward knows his ****.
