I don't think he ever meant it. Just a heat of the moment comment.

Plus Manny has just fought as jr middleweight, while Khan is two weight divisions below him. Same trainer too

Manny by KO within 3 rounds if they ever do fight

Khan-Mayweather on the other hand is definitely possible

Khan is a joke, he would be a fool to step into a ring with Manny or Mayweather.

This has mismatch written all over it, moreso than Haye vs Harrison.

Recently, Roach came out and stated if Khan and Manny ever fought, he would train Manny because "Manny is my guy".

All of a sudden, Amir is now saying he wont fight because Manny is a friend and they are in the same camp.

I dont get it. Is he afraid of Manny? Or is he now soo dependent on Freddy Roach as trainer, he wont find someone else to train him.
Both. I also seriously doubt his past statement about his willingness to fight Manny. Had it occurred , it would have been a short work for Manny.

Now it is already too late for it.
Vitali will be 41 by then even if they signed the contracts to fight each other this week.
