I agree man, like Erik Morales, that mofo will fight anyone

I think PBF has to fight everyone, to prove he is the best

For example - In my opinion, the last time he fought someone of World class (back in 2002') many thought he lost.

Since then he's fought Victoriano Sosa, Phillip N'dou, DeMarcus Corley, Henry Bruseles, and Arturo Gatti. - None of these guys are what I would consider proper World class fighters.

Sosa - won quite a few rounds against Mayweather and did give him trouble.

N'dou - Better known as Phillip "the pudding" N'dou, IS NOT the same Lovemore Ndou that gave Mitchell/Witter/Cotto problems. Phillip N'dou is crap compared to Lovemore Ndou.

Corley - Has been called Demarcus "slop slop" Corley in the past, and he took Mayweather the distance and shook him up doing it.

Bruseles - Famous for being a Cotto sparring partner, I'd never heard of him before and don't think I'll hear of him again.

Gatti - Gatti's been a good fighter to watch over the years and been in some real wars... But with all due respect, He's not exactly a talented fighter. When he did step up in class 5yrs ago he got his arse handed to him by De La Hoya... He's had the crap kicked out of him by Ward three times since then, he's lost a load of fights, he looks a mess, was it really any suprise to any of you that Mayweather was able to run rings around him?

I've seen threads on this forum saying, "Ohh, how is anyone ever going to beat Mayweather???"... "No one all the way up to 175lbs can touch Mayweather!"

But let's be serious for a second... A lot of this is based on hype and what people think WOULD happen if Mayweather fought this or that person.

I'm just thinking maybe Mayweather's getting set up for a big fall?
This thread sucks! Get a life man, you're an Hatton nut-hugger. First of all you didn't even mention PBF big fights. That shows how much you know.

i think mayweather should go back to 135...he's too small to be a 140 pounder. as far as him being overhyped...well...i'm borderline on that. he beat a lot of good fighters in hernandez, manfredy, corrales, and castillo but those were a long time ago. to stamp his supremacy at 140 he needs to fight that kid from manchester rightfuly beat out the undisputed 140 king in koysta.

he can do it. but it seems mayweather is more interested in being a household name. hatton unfortunaley is not a household name in the u.s. people know more about cotto, winky (after he beat trinidad), and zab...so those are they people he's eyeing. hatton may sell a lot of tickets in manchester but floyd's thinking about ppvs in the u.s.

i dunno...would you like to get mauled by a 140lbs. hatton or get pot shot by a 154lbs. wright? lol

There's always someone that has to come along and ruin threads nowadays. You've obviously not read a single post on this thread, in fact you've not even read the top post properly!

Parodius, read the beginning of the thread AGAIN. It says:

There's one way I could find out for sure... And that would be Mayweather vs Hatton, or Mayweather vs Cotto... Not Mayweather vs Mitchell! - I already know the result of that fight before it's started!
Nobody can really argue with any of this.

Well...if Floyd beat Cotto, people would say Cotto was too green.

Who the **** Hatton has fought, besides an old Tszyu??? I'm getting sick of your BS man. You always say **** about PBF & overrate Hatton. I will take those 5 guys you've mentioned then any person Hatton fought, besides Tszyu. You have only an old Tszyu to go by. So quit with BS.

You see this is the kinda response I wanted... cvt, this post is spot on, And you've actually answered a lot of the questions I've been asking myself about Floyd, RE:

How would you tie that statement up with my earlier quote?:

Do you think Floyd will pass up big fights with guys similar in statue to Kostya Tszyu because he can make more money beating a washed up American name for the tv... Or do you think Floyd will actually go for it, and take on fighters like Ricky Hatton?

I hear you, and if he beats Hatton I'm sure there will be excuses as well...people will always find something. I guess you just have to ignore the haters (and I don't think Martin is one).
