It's the way the fights are won... Manny is exciting... Mayweather puts me to sleep...

    Are you serious?

1-Mayweather beat DLH a year before Manny @DLH's weight and when DLH was holding a title. Manny fought Oscar AFTER Mayweather beat him and Manny fought him at a weight that Oscar didnt fight at in 10 years.

2- Mayweather wanted to fight Cotto when himself, Cotto & Hatton had belts @140lbs...Bob Arum DID NOT want to put Cotto in with Mayweather cuz he was protecting his investment.

3- Mayweather beat Hatton when Hatton was undefeated and was #5 on the P4P List....Manny fought Hatton almost 2 years after Mayweather already knocked him out.

4- Margarito is a known cheater...he is pointless to speak ok. He has no credibility in the boxing game.

5- The fact that you say the best technical, accurate & defensive fighter in the sport of boxing is "BORING" to watch clearly shows your TRUE interest in the SPORT OF BOXING.

Yeah, when a guy has all the skills in the world like Mayweather and all he does is pot shot his way to boring victory, yeah, that puts me to sleep. Mayweather hasn't had a breathtaking performance since he beat Corrales many moons ago. Manny's been in one boring fight since he beat Barrera way back when. The only fights Mayweather were in that were exciting since Corrales was the 10th round of the Hatton fight and the 2nd round of the Mosley fight. Everything else was tedious and lame...
Coming from a guy with a name of Slugger...i wouldn't expect anything less.

No, I am not calling him a club fighter. You were discussing excitment and all I was saying is that club fights can be very exciting without being particularly skill-filled.

I don't hate any man that is brave enough to step into a ring. I can hate the people around him and some of the more annoying fans because they are not the ones taking the punches but doing all of the talking

Floyd should just fight Martinez. I like his chances against Sergio, and it would give him far and away more credibility than this garbage. Pacquiao should be ashamed of himself.

Once this fight with Pac vs Mosley gets announced, I better not here any b.s from anyone saying his fighting an old man b.s... People last year were saying that Pac ducked Mosley for Cotto and that Pac would get his ass whooped. This fight is going to be electric and fact of the matter is, as always fans are going to get there money's worth.

Another question. Why do Pac fans act like it's a great victory when he wins a fight that he is heavily favoured to win (eg. Clottey and Margarito)?
because that man is a former flyweight champion who moved all the way up to the junior middleweight division destroying everyone they put in front of him.

2 years ago, boxing fans would laugh at you if you were to say Pac(who was just making his debut at 135 back then) would

Oscar DeLahOya at 147.......NO MAS 8 rounds!
Ricky Hatton at 140...........KTFO 2 Rounds
              Miguel Cotto at 147...........TKO 12 rounds....2 KDs
              Joshua Clottey at 147........UD 120-108
Antonio Margarito at 154..... Brutal Beatdown ...""That's the kind of performance that could make Floyd want to go to jail"...michael Buffer

whoever thought Pacquiao could do these 2 years ago?.....NOBODY.

That's how great Manny Pacquiao is.

lol...so this is the line to sell the fight "Mosley has never been stopped"

I like Manny, he's really fun to watch but stuff like this hurts him more than anything else. People other than casual fans or die hard Pacman's fan will buy into this fight!!!

Uncle Bob, got his way once again!!!
This guy single handling is killing boxing in my opinion!!! Not talking about PPV #s or **** like that but good, competitive matches!!!
                **** ARUM!!!

Look at these fighters before they fought pac..they were all comign off losses...all were coming off KO losses except Clottey who lost to Cotto and DLH that lost to Mayweather

I'm sorry, I only had Mayweather beating Oscar 115-113. When Oscar threw the jab, he won the round, when he didn't, he lost the round. If Mayweather wanted to, he could've probably KO'd ODLH but he didn't because he likes to play it safe. He got lucky that he caught Hatton (because he wasn't trying to) or that would have went to decision as well. When a fighter won't take any risks, I get bored. I like fighters who take risks, put themselves in danger, like Holyfield, Corrales, Castillo, Barrera, Morales, the Marquez bros, Arturo Gatti, Israel Vazquez and Pacquiao. Figthers like Mayweather who refuse to take risks aren't exciting to me. He should've taken JMM out (way to small), taken Judah out (guy has no chin), taken Mosley out (by the 6th round, Mosley had nothing), and tried to go for the kill against ODLH and he didn't try for any of those. I like warriors...
