I'm thinking about saying 'no' to my property taxes this year...

Nobody cared about Sharmba before then. But while waiting three years for Kostya to come back, he was kicking ass and then Kostya walks through him like a hot knife through butter. He was obviously in a whole different league than Kostya.

I feel Mayweather could beat Kostya. Why would he now fight somebody I'm sure everyone definately knows he would beat that doesn't have name value?

I dont understand why one loss against a great fighter makes you a "has been"?? Before that fight people were saying he was the best at 140 and would beat Tszyu. IMO Mitchell has always been overated but he's a decent opponent for Mayweather while he's trying to make bigger match ups for the future.

Thank you. Exactly, it would be a boxer versus boxer fight against Mitchell. Boring. Mayweather doesn't need that type of fight if he wants his star to continue to rise. He needs to be fighting someone who at least has a puncher's chance against him. Hell, thats why the Corrales fight was great. Mayweather's defense was so perfect that fight, Corrales couldn't hurt him and didn't. I'm sure if more people saw Floyd's performance in that fight, more people would know how special Floyd is.

Not to take anything away from Hatton's victory over Tszyu... I doo think that Tszyu hammering Mitchell did flatter Tszyu a bit.

Mitchell's 37yrs old and relies on his speed to win fights. I don't think he has much left to offer at the top of the tree.

I'm pretty sure both Judah and Mayweather know this, and that's why they wanna get another name under their belts before Mitchell get's shown up.

I believe this because if you remember how Mitchell got on with guys like Michael Stewert, and what Hatton did too Michael Stewert several months later it kinda put it in too perspective for me.

He's not a great fighter and I don't want to see him. He had a chance to win against Kostya and got blown out.

Just like Junior Witter. Ran from Zab Judah on the undercard of Tyson-Savarese. His performance makes me hate his guts and I vow to never see him fight again.

Shamba Mitchell wasn't kicking ass whilst waiting for Kostya Tszyu to heal. He seemed to me to be doing just enough to sc**** by. I thought he lost to Lovemore Ndou in NY.

Not Witter until he grows a pair of balls. If he ran from Zab Judah what will he do against Floyd?

I reckon both of them could make an interesting fight against Mayweather... Not saying they'd win it, but it would be a hell of a lot more competitve fight than Arturo Gatti.

Yeh, i see this one as a similar step which Ricky Hatton has the potential to take, an easy step just to keep the ring rust off.

Ricky of course has the option of Maussa, and Mayweather has this opportunity. One day i would definetly want the Ricky-Floyd fight and to be honest if that doesnt happen that would be one of the greatest let downs of both of their careers and international boxing as a whole.

I say Ricky defends his title or goes for Maussa's title, Mayweather does a similar thing, then they have a face off. I wouldnt hold anything against either fighter if they took that route.

We're saying no to this fight taking place.

Mitchell's 37 years old and his annihilation by Kostya not too long ago shows he doesn't belong with the best.

Mayweather is a boxer like Sharmba. Boxer vs boxer = boring and Mayweather would loses a lot steam he caught beating Gatti in such a dominant fashion.

I'm a Mayweather fan for life, but he needs to step it up to A level fighters. Not C level.

Exactly, he was winning but against who? People saw him winning against all those cupcakes and then were over-rating Mitchell like they did Wlad against all those cupcakes before Sanders got a hold of Wlads ass much like Kostay got ahold of Mitchell.

That goes to show those fighters being protected (Juarez, Cotto, Cintron) that your management might put you up with cupcakes but you will be eventually exposed either by a cupcake or a has been they selected you to fight.

That "one day" below means, the Mayweather I saw against Gatti would toy with Hatton's ass and I don't want him to be exposed now. I still want to go a while thinking he's better than what he really is.
