    Please say no to Mayweather-Mitchell

Mitchell is a has been. Mayweather is riding off momentum (fan wise) from the Gatti fight. Why several steps back against Sharmba Mitchell?

Maybe it's an easy payday, or he wants to stay busy if it will be soon.

Just because Tszyu murdered him doesnt mean he's a has been, Tszyu murdered everyone including Judah.

I dont understand why one loss against a great fighter makes you a "has been"?? Before that fight people were saying he was the best at 140 and would beat Tszyu. IMO Mitchell has always been overated but he's a decent opponent for Mayweather while he's trying to make bigger match ups for the future.

I reckon Mitchell's being showing signs of being a liitle shot since I saw him get that hometown decsion against Lovemore Ndou.

Not to take anything away from Hatton's victory over Tszyu... I doo think that Tszyu hammering Mitchell did flatter Tszyu a bit.

Mitchell's 37yrs old and relies on his speed to win fights. I don't think he has much left to offer at the top of the tree.

I'm pretty sure both Judah and Mayweather know this, and that's why they wanna get another name under their belts before Mitchell get's shown up.

I believe this because if you remember how Mitchell got on with guys like Michael Stewert, and what Hatton did too Michael Stewert several months later it kinda put it in too perspective for me.

He's not a prime fighter but not a shot fighter, theres a difference, he'd be a good warm up for anyone.

I think it's not a good fight for Floyd because it's almost impossible for him to better Tszyu's performance against Mitchell.

Floyd should find someone tougher, & flaunt his stuff against them.

Yeah I surpose calling Shamba a shot fighter is a little harsh.

I just wanna see some of these fighters get together. Cotto, Mayweather, Hatton, Judah, Witter, Tszyu, Freitas, Corrales, Castillo, Margarito... And so on... There are so many fights out there to be made, I just dunno why the likes of Judah and Mayweather are chassing after 37yr old 60+ fight beaten Mitchell?

It's not like there aren't any big fights out there to make at the moment.

It annoys me but sometimes you cant make the fights you want, Mitchell would be a good start for Mayweather at 147 if he decide to skip the light welter division(i know he's fought there but a man of his talents should at least try to be number 1).

Its hard to compare Tszyu's peformances against Mayweathers, its obvious Tszyu is more likely to destroy opponents quicker than Mayweather could, but if Mayweather give Mitchell a beating over a long distance would be just as good because we know he's not a puncher like Tszyu.

The problem is NOONE at 140-147 is competitive enough to give Floyd a hard fight except Hatton and we all know that isnt happening....So everyone is going to be ****...The only credible fights in Floyds weight range is

                    Zab
                    Castillo/Corrales winner
                    Hatton
