I've been wrestling with who'd I'd like to see win this fight for months. I don't really like watching Floyd fight, so my instincts say I should be rooting for Pacquiao, whom I enjoy watching. But another part of me wants Mayweather to win, just to spite all the haters in the media and fly-by-night boxing fans that arrived once Manny beat DLH.

Seriously, wouldn't it just be so sweet? Boxingscene's member count would probably decrease by 25-50% overnight. And I'm not saying Floyd doesnt have a lot of ****** fans too, but the way Pacman has blown up in the American media... Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel, Nike commercials, ect ect while still being a lesser draw than Floyd is amazing.
I was looking at Floyd's facebook last night, and every photo has comments to the effect of:

I would think hardcore boxing fans would want Pacquiao to KO Mayweather in an event that would breathe some new life into this stagnant sport. I think hardcore boxing fans would appreciate the mainstream exposure that Pacquiao brings and would like to be represented by a champion who actually takes fights, stays active, and performs accordingly to please fans of boxing.

The only reason i would want Floyd to win are selfish reasons, because that is where my money would be and all the arguments I have made for years have been made.

As a boxing fan it really matter little though since they are both great and there has to be a winner and loser so the only thing I wouldn't want is a draw.

1. This forum shows that there are A LOT of pac haters as well. They continue to accuse pac of cherry picking fights. If he beats floyd, he'll prove them wrong once and for all, i hope.

2. What makes sports awesome, are the heroes of the sport. For example, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, etc. Pac has been on a tear, and a proper ending would be whooping Floyd's ass in an epic fight. If he loses, it would like when Zenyatta the horse didnt win the 20th straight race.
