Comments Thread For: Mormeck: David Haye Has Proved Nothing at Heavyweight

Heavyweight Jean Marc Mormeck has issued a challenge to WBA heavyweight champion David Haye. The former cruiserweight champion from France wants revenge for his TKO loss to Haye in France in 2007. After his recent split decision win over Uzbekistan's Timur Ibragimov, Mormeck said he is ready to avenge that defeat. He wants the fight in Paris, but that won't happen.

I don't particularly like Haye, but Mormeck would get KO'd quicker the 2nd time around

Mormeck did well in there first fight but he is not the fighter he was then, i doubt he can win.

This is exactly what Haye needs.

An easy opponent he can justify fighting after he avoids Chagaev for medical reasons.

"As an honorable champion I should give Jeam Mormeck the chance to win the heavyweight title just like he did for me at Cruiserweight... blah blah blah"

Everyone should consider Mormeck a huge favorite to be Haye's next opponent, especially considering how bad Mormeck has looked as a Heavyweight.

The only thing he has proved is that he is a coward and scared to fight the REAL heavyweight champs.

Mormeck is right. But he shouldn't be the one making that statement. He's not done and will not do a damn thing at HW himself.
