I am going to have to agree with Mormeck: 1) getting saved by the ref against an old and shot Barrett, whos days as a legitimate contender ended about 10 years ago when Wlad beat the snot out of him without getting decked, unlike Gaye was 2) getting a gift decision over an old crippled Valuev who retired afterwards and couldn't even enforce a mandatory, a "fight" where Gaye gets the credit for throwing the least number of puncher in a HW title fight EVER 3) beating an old and shot Ruiz by doing a better impersonation of a rabbit puncher than Sam Peter has ever done, while still getting tagged by old man Ruiz's jabs 4)fighinng an old and never-was Fraudley and having been told by the ref TO FIGHT (when was the last time you saw that in a HW championship fight?) - nothing to write home about for Gaye, especially since on average every one of those opponents has been at least 8 years older than him and all were older than 36, so way past their best days, and all 4 have either retired or were on the verge of retiring before fighting Gaye. So yeah, spot on Mormeck, Gaye hasn't done **** at HW.
