Nonito would be well on his way to stardom by now if he had been featured on Pacquiao's undercards. Not to mention that Donaire's presence would have made those PPVs more worth the money.

Pretty dumb move by Arum not to put him on.

I agree, but in Arum's defense, he did create the Pinoy Power series as Donaire's own vehicle. But who knows what sort of politics might have been involved, really.

Donaire is boring. On top of it, he fights nobodies who are always smaller than him.

Oscar de la Hoya did the same thing from 130-140. These guys turn pro young, get a ranking at that weight, then kill themselves to stay there because they're worried they can't get a ranking at the next weight class (in some cases.)

Look at Shaun George, who fought at cruiserweight for years because he was afraid if he went to 175 where he belonged he would lose his rank forever.

It was the Chavez-Gomez PPV main event that sold most of the tickets, and now, many of those fans are stuck watching a hypocritical main event.

Arum put Nonito as the main event, as a favor, affirmitive action.

Its Humberto Soto vs Urbano Antillon that the audience is paying to watch, now.
