I guess I should've phrased it better, who according to your personal observation, based on listening to the fighter talk, expressing himself, maybe even the way he conducts himself........is the smartest to you.

You can always look at a person, listen to them and come to the opinion whether they're intelligent or not. It happened to President Bush.
this right here. if you've ever listened to juan diaz talk and then see stuff like "juan diaz (future president/mayor/ambassador/etc???)" how can you not laugh? lots of people go to college and have degrees, should they be president too?

im gonna go with antonio tarver. he comes across as a pretty intelligent guy.

Agreed. Tarver is a pretty sharp guy.

One of the most underrated promo's leading up to a fight were Tarver Vs Hopkins. A true exchange of wits. The complete opposite of what you would see in a Toney vs Mayorga Press-conference encounter.

And yes Diaz is overrated. His parents took advantage of the American dream and sent their son to college. They've disciplined him good, and he is still living with them. Doesn't mean he is really a independently intelligent guy, he stutters and doesn't seem that smart to me.

Wasn't Bobby Chyz a genius? That was a while ago though.

Now probably the Klitschkos since they are doctors.

we know it isn't manny pacquiao.

he dropped out of school in the third grade, never learned to read, and has scrawled his X on any contract put in front of him.

he is being sued by three different firms right now.

juan manuel marquez speaks like an intelligent guy.

marco antonio barrera speaks very intelligently as well. He seems cultured.

Carl Froch. Stephen Hawking tried to steal Carl's Chair at Cambridge and look what the Cobra did to him!

Tarver is a excellent choice. He seems to know where he is at all times. A degree in russia is as easy to get as a sandwich btw.

Nobody said Eddie Chambers? He was the first to come to mind. I agree with those that said the Klitschkos and Andre Ward.
