oh i missread the question if its just plain ol IQ id have to say the Klitchko bros. Antonio Tarver is very well spoken. and Bhop. yes he was in jail but since most of you guys havent been anywhere outside of your neighborhood. In prison besides starting trouble most of the guys either workout or study. so im pretty sure bhop spent alot of time training and reading lots of books.
but it all depends book smarts, street smarts, business smarts
are all different things all can get you places but not everyone has them all.Comment

congressman of a country ONLY because of his popularity dumb ass, what has he done in congress yet? he hasn't done **** and he will most likely have his staff and advisers tell him what to do just how they showed in 24/7 while he was training. He doesn't even have an education. Its easily Manny Pacquiao. He is a congressman of a country. He speaks Tagalog, English and Spanish. He runs alot of businesses. He literally did this all by himself. He didn't have rich parents who put him in private school and paid for everything.
Pacquiao was a candidate for Time Magazine person of the year also and will someday become President of a Country. No one else even comes close IMO.Comment

Wlad immediately springs to mind, not simply because he desses smartly and has a degree. He comes across very well in interviews, and appears to have quite a sharp mind. There's also the fact that he speaks multiple languages and seems to come across well in all of them, or so I've heard.
Ward strikes as an intelligent guy, just from reading his interviews. Always has something interesting to say in response to a question. He's also one of the few boxers around today able to successfully tailor his style to a particular opponent and make adjustments during a fight. I know that kinda blurs the boundary between in ring and out of ring intelligence, but it displays quite a keen intellect nonetheless.
Tarver also appears pretty sharp. Genuinely witty and an excellent commentator. Likewise BJ Flores. Jones is a good commentator as well, but when he's not talking boxing he seems like a bit of a dumbo.
I agree that Hopkins has underrated intelligence. It's hard to see through all the cussing and rampant racism, but if you read his interviews you'll find he quite often has something quite profound to say. I remember reading an interview of his when he was advising Floyd to be careful of his money, quite a common piece of advice, but the way he worded it was extremely eloquent and compelling. I remember thinking, "Damn, I've underestimated this man."
I'm sure there are plenty of non-English speaking boxers I've overlooked. Even though, JMM has always seemed like a very intelligent man. He just has an aura of academia about him, with his high thinker's brow and studious expression. Always made me flinch whenever he got hit hard, thinking of the damage that genius brain was sustaining...
