Whoa, slow down there champ!

First, if you're fighting any TR fighter it's JCC Jr. Increasing your name recognition even more. Then another HBO fight on a Berto undercard and then a big HBO fight between you and Berto.

Then maybe, maybe, you can fight Pac in 2012. If JMM can't get a fight with Pac you can't right now.

I do think Canelo has the tools to become the largest active Mexican fight making mega fights happen down the line.

Alvarez.

Alvarez needs to battle the speed bag in 2011. He is to slow. Good puncher, decent chin, stamina seems ok. But to slow, and why dont they make him fight a real 154 pounder already. All his fights are against 140 pounders going up to 150. There are plenty of C or B list fighters at his weight.

if GBP is saying they want to give us big fights, why not Marquez vs Alvarez in Mexico. they can meet at a catch weight of 145. Marquez always *****ing about Pac at that weight, and am sure Alvarez can go down to welterweight. if he manages to defeat Alvarez then Pac might turn attention to him. If Alvarez wins, he gets Pac for sure. The question is, will GBP willing to sacrifice one of these fighters just ?

He needs another 2 years IMO to fight Berto and he wont be able to get to pac's level because pac will be retired by then. That way h will be ready and The fight will be a war.
