Funny how when Joe connects the clips don't 'highlight' it yet when hopkins does it gets x7 replays which gives a skewed perspective because when a fight is in process there is an ebbe and flow which sudden stops and replay don't show.

Plus the replay's don't show Joes shots which land in far greater quantitity than Hopkins - the difference is his punches aren't as commanding but that doesn't mean they weren't effective or Hopkins would have walked through them.

What this video also doesn't show is x7 replays of the 'low blows' that Hopkins 'claimed'.

    Funny that aint it?
lowblows aren't a scoring criteria so do we really need 7 replays? and it wasn't just a claim it was a fact. once again bad eyesight.

The majority of boxing fans think that Hopkins faked it. Why don't you back up your view and do a poll?

And please stop claiming 'fact' like you're the single authority on these matters. if the majority of people disagree with you you're in the minority there's no two ways about it.

these videos aren't disses at all. they are break downs of controversial fights. if you don't agree then fine. these videos aren't trying to trick anyone. they are just showing you evidence. you have to choose to use that evidence or ignore it. it's up to the fans to ultimately make up their minds.

it's not a matter of opinion though. it is a fact. calzaghe hit hopkins low. you pretend like a punch didn't hit him low which is wrong. now if you wanna say hopkins milked it for all it was worth than yes he certainly did(within his rights to do so). but saying he was never low blowed is incorrect.

calzaghe allowed hopkins to take a break by hitting him low. if he didn't hit him low he wouldn't be able to take a break. why get mad that hopkins used the rules to his advantage?

Slapzaghe beat Borehard in an close assfest of a fight..

The only redeeming factor was whiteboy zaghe dry humping Slopkins and the gifs that followed.

As this topics come back again, thought I'd rewatch it myself and I ended up finding another round for Calzaghe. 115-112 I had it:

              Round 01 - Joe down, 8-10.

Round 02 - Calz. pushed the fight, pressured better. Hopkins only seemed to clinch in this round. 10-9

Round 03 - Wasn't dominated by Hopkins but he brought Calzaghe onto his right hand and successfully counterpunched. 9-10

Round 04 - Good end to the round by Calzaghe who seemed to start finding his rhythm but good right hands (again) won Hopkins the round. 9-10

Round 05 - Better round for Calzaghe, landed more punches. 10-9

Round 06 - Constant pressure by Calzaghe throwing and landing more. Hopkins did very little in this round. 10-9

Round 07 - Majority of round won by Calzaghe although Hopkins landed a good right at the end of the round. Could have gone either way but Calzaghe's round in my opinion. 10-9

Round 08 - Hopkins went back to fighting his fight for majority of round although there was a good end flurry by Calzaghe. 9-10

Round 09 - Calzaghe's best round, landed frequently and forced the round well. 10-9

Round 10 - The low blow round. Very ugly round but gave it to Calzaghe because felt he did a little bit more in this round. Might have been bias scoring this round Calzaghe in all fairness but that fake low blow annoyed me. 10-9

Round 11 - Thought Calzaghe won this round clearly. 10-9

Round 12 - Better pressure, landed more shots although not as cleanly. Edged to Calzaghe. 10-9

A lot of the rounds were close and I scored it 114-113 last time to Calzaghe. However, I think Calzaghe did enough to win in general as he pushed the fight, threw more and landed more shots.

I'm sure a lot of you will disagree with the round scorings but this was my interpretation of the fight, could have gone either way but I feel Calzaghe did more and deserved it.

It's a bit odd that people enjoyed that. I can't imagine Hopkins doing that and not get called every gay name under the sun.

Fair point, I'm not arguing with their decision but thought I'd stick down my view as everyone else was but with justification.

Having said that, qualified scorers do make mistakes (William 119 - 110 Martinez/Devon Alexander beating Kotelnik on all scorecards) so it should be a debate topic... even if it was 2 years ago.
