The thing is with JC a lot of fights didnt get made but were talked about like RJJ, Glencoffe Johnson and clinton woods types etc. But also with JCs brittle hands fights were cancelled.

Froch on the other hand was protected until very recently. Its only recently Froch has showed what he was capable of. JC did it early against David Starie and Robin Reid types who were better than most of Frochs earlier opponents..
