I think every Marquez fan knows or at least most of them do, that Marquez can't be effective at 147 so he cannot possibly accomplish what Pacquiao has. I don't think anyone in their right mind can think he would beat Margarito, Cotto and all the WW Pacquiao has beaten because Pac's style is perfect for the opponents he faced. This is why a third fight against Pacquiao at 147 is rubbish.
Marquez might still give Pacquiao a good fight like the previous 2 at a lower weight because their style give each other problems. I think as fans we want to see competitive fights, one sided wins are fun and all but they get old.

Wow where do i start on this **** post? if Marquez and Cotto did fight Marquez is not enough of a draw compared to Cotto to make any demands on the weight the fight would be at. If you really believe that a Marquez Cotto fight at 147 goes anything like Pac Cotto at 145 you should follow a different sport. Marquez is a great lw im not saying he isnt and p4p is better then Pacs last 5 opponents but in actual matchups at ww he doesnt belong.

Thats how Paquiao fought cotto weight drain, make it even for JMM to fight cotto at 145lbs weight drain. Lets see how cotto does against Sergio Martinez at 154 or 155 lbs, cotto will get worse than paquiao.

The only guy on that list of 5 who i would favor against him is Mayweather and that isnt 100%. Marquez against Pacs last 5 opponents goes 1-4.

I'd take JMM by TKO. Oscar was done.

JMM vs. Hatton @ 140: 2-0.

JMM by brutal KO (i'll admit that jmm would struggle more with hatton than manny did).

JMM vs. Cotto at 145: 3-0. Tough fight for JMM, but at the end of the day skills pay the bills and Cotto ain't been **** since Margarito.

JMM vs. Clottey @ 147: 4-0. Marquez wins this fight quite easily. Clottey is not going to out technical JMM. No way. Boring fight, but I got JMM.

JMM vs. Margarito @ 147: 5-0. Marquez beats the living plaster out of Margs.

I see Marquez going 5-0 just like Pac (differnce is JMM would struggle a bit more).

With that said, how would Pac do against JMM's last five?

You or I don't know how effective Marquez would be at 147. He lost to Mayweather dude. Mayweather! Mayweather!

Nobody can beat that guy so the Mayweather fight was not a true indication of what JMM could do at 147.

I'll tell you what though, he lasted all 12 with the greatest fighter of his generation.
