I am thinking twice about buying the Pac vs Mosley fight...not because im a hater of anyone but the fight itself is just garbage. People have ripped Floyd up and down for facing an over the hill mosley...and now its ok for pacquiao to do so..?? This time Pac won't just beat an over the hill mosley...he'll beat and over the hill guy who's had two terrible fights back to back.

As for Marquez statement, To be fair.......why hasn't marquez brought up the money he was asking for??? Why didn't he atleast say that the salary along with the weight wasn't the issue?? 50/50..... really?????
Marquez get on PPV a couple of times and make good numbers and then he can talk about 50/50. IMO, seems like he's outpricing himself! You really want to make Pacquiao look bad, compromise on the salary like you did with the weight and see what happens?
As for Berto, he didn't even look like he wanted to fight Pacquiao when larry merchant asked him last saturday about Pac... "yea well you know, i'll fight whomever...i'll fight mosley first and so forth and thennnn.....i'll fight pac" Really?

He's trying to get paid, that's the bottom line.

Fights are made for money, right or wrong it is what it is. Pac vs Berto makes ZERO sense money wise, it won't happen. Mosley is a more recognized name and will bring in more revenue.

I don't want to see the fight either but this is what happens when promoters have all the power.

I think Mosley may be Manny's undoing. Yes Mosley did not look good against Mora, buy Mosley has always looked bad against taller guys. Also who has really ever looked good against Mora? He is awkward as hell.

I look at it this way. If Mosley was able to sneak two big right hands in on Floyd, he will get many more in on Pacquiao.

If you study the styles and look deeper. Mosley just may be the worst choice Pac made. Pac cannot blow him out and is not difficult to time like Floyd.

Looks like the Pacwh*res are out in force this morning. Exactly how does a logical thinking person conclude that JMM deserves less with Pac than he did with Mayweather when Mayweather has continually shown he's a bigger draw than Pac?

You just contradicted yourself. If Pac is less of a draw, that means he will generate less money than Floyd was able to against JMM, leaving less money to split in the purse. Therefore JMM has to take less. Pac being the money maker will get his deserved $20 Million.

That's the problem with the JMM fight, it is no gaurantee to do well. JMM should accept half of what Cotto got (who got $4 Million and is a much bigger draw). $2 Million is more than fair (maybe with a PPV upside, so JMM only gets more if the PPV does well). Remember GBP have zero leverage in negotiations.
