im confused. didnt bob arum in a day or 2 ago said he would pay marquez what he got from the mayweather fight and nothing more. he said he wont get more for a fight he lost but he will match it. now hes saying how can they ask for the same ammount in a fight he lost? but you just said you wll give them the same ammount but when they agree you say no you get less. i dont get it i give up. all the extra names is bull**** decoys manny will fight mosley

Marquez weighed 134.

Martinez weighed 157.

Fight night weights have little-to-no bearing on how much muscle-mass and conditioning you can take into the fight, and anybody who knows anything about boxing should be aware of that.


Manny has a much bigger frame than the career-featherweight Marquez. At 147, Manny will be able to officially build up to 6-7lbs of muscle that Marquez' smaller frame simply cannot support.

Wow. Teach me more genius. You are saying that the weigh in weight more than 24 hours before the fight is a better gauge of how big a fighter is than the weight taken right before the fight? So according to your logic, Pacquiao comes to fight with way less water than anyone else since he only gains a few pounds the 24 hours before the fight. So Pac is way bigger than JMM, but JMM likes to fight with way more water, so he comes in at 145 and Pacquiao at 148. I think you have a serious misunderstanding about what making weight means.

And you're saying that if the limit is 147 then Pacquiao will put on 6-7 pounds of muscle and come in at 153-154. Why didn't he do that in any of his previous fights? How do you explain Pacquiao weighing 148 for all of his last fights regardless of the weight limit? (147-DLH, 140-Hatton, 150-Margo)
