Its funny you say this because this has pretty much defined Floyd career. He sits backs and lets everyone fight everyone else and say see I told you this person wasnt that good and thats why I didnt fight him.

Your right, but this is how people view fights. A beats B, B losses to C, ultimately C's the greater fighter. Its happened before and will happen over and over again.

How many question marks will Pacquiao have if he losses to Mosley? And surely this will only make Mayweather's claims to be better than him stronger?

I like this... keeping Mayweather out of the question, this to me would be the best scenario.

Yeah, but be a fan of the sport first. Pacquiao vs. Mosley may be a good fight for Mayweather's legacy but...it sucks for boxing and sucks for fans. So honestly...who cares? Feel me?

Yeh of course, but im trying to picture this in terms of the future. How it will look, lets say 10 or 20 years down the line.

But i am in no way accepting the fight, my first choice was a Marquez rematch at 140.

This is one hell of an idea. Almost like an eliminator type of thing, meanwhile Pacquiao and Marquez handle unfinished business. And all focus is on them and not Mayweather, as it should be right now.

Kudos for this idea. And you know Bob Arum and company have thought of this as well, but it makes too much sense to be feasible.

Depends on how the loss happened. If he catches Pac with the same shots he hit Mayweather with and Pac cant continue all that can be inferred is Mayweather has a better chin. If Mosley lays a Margarito type beatdown on Pac then you may have a point, but if the chances of that were significant Shane-Pac would be a fight instead of a mismatch.

at this point, if he fights jmm, it'll be another leftover of floyd's--and the reason it's a leftover is because unlike manny, floyd CONVINVINGLY, defeated jmm---no controversy in the decision at all----whereas manny fought to a draw and a widely contested split decison victory---
