The only person whose legacy can benefit from this fight is Shane.

Beating Shane is called cleaning the WW division, when Shane's last fight was at Junior Middleweight?

Subtracting fighters Pac has already beat, how should he go about cleaning out the WW division? Andre Berto is the only name that pops into my head.

Unless that losing fighter received a straight beatdown like we saw in Cotto/Marg or Mosley/Marg, boxers can still have legit and meaningful fights thereafter.
I am with you on this. I have seen boxers bounce back after tough loses, it is what it is. People train differently for different opponents.. If we are looking at it at a performance aspect per opponent, then why don't we just say Pac is better than Mayweather because Pac knocked out Hatton in 2, where Hatton almost went the distance against Floyd. I understand Floyd fought him first, but Pac looked better in the end. I do not believe that fighters can be judged as better or worse than someone else just because of the performance against a competitor.. its rediculous.

I would love to see Pac fight Berto, not yet, give Berto a few more fights.. but I think that would be a pretty good fight, IMO.

I dont think Berto is ready either, but who else is there? Shane is an old man, JMM is a LW, Martinez is a MW. There is nobody left.

If Mosley wins, Floyd will undoubtedly be considered greater seeing as he beat Mosley so convincingly.

If Pacquiao wins, this will be another win for Pac in which he'd beat another one of Mayweather's 'left overs'.

All in all, this will look good on Mayweathers legacy once all these guys retire.
Doesn't work that way, Pac will humiliate Floyd once again by winning in more impressive fashion against a common opponent.

Berto and Mosley should have fought for the right to fight Pac and in the meanwhile Pac could have fought Marquez at 140.
