Hey I agree, I think at this stage of each man's career, Pac beats JMM and does it decisively.

JMM is just trying to get a final payday and hope for one last great effort, can't blame the guy can you?

I like Pac and respect his accomplishments, but in no way is Marquez one or even two dimensional. He is a "great" fighter period. If anyone is deserving of a shot at Pac it's JMM and not at 147.

Imagine back then, a one-dimensional Pacquiao knocking Marquez 4 times....how much more now? So I don't think it is that at all.

Marquez has been turning up the heat in the desperation-mode as he is getting older.
i don't get all this back then one dimensional and now he's a complete fighter? he looks the same to me,his fight with marquez was like 5 fights ago?.and i still see the same pac.he fights the same,he's just as quick,he still gets hit a lot,it's not like he' turned into a skilled fighter,i don't see it,it's only his quickness, thats it,oscar, margarito, clottey said it...i don't see anything different now than from when he fought marquez, marquez is a better fighter all around, the only thing manny has on him is quickness and that he's able to carry the weight with him, which is the only reason i feel he'll win the fight now,if they do fight,

If Katsidis hurt him now at 135lbs, imagine what Pac will do to him now at 147lbs.

If you can't imagine it, look at what he did to Cotto and Margacheato.

I don't know if you've been watching Pacquiao after JMM. Pacquiao didn't have the:

                • LEAD RIGHT HOOKS
                • LEAD RIGHT CHECK HOOKS
                • IN AND OUT FOOTWORK

Whereas back then he was strictly a 1-1-2 puncher. Specifically against Marquez, he was that and Marquez was countering him very effectively albeit Pacquiao had his very aggressive combinations that put him down 4 times...

YUP!! Let's not forget that Diaz and Katsidis have the perfect style for Marquez!! Fighting Diaz wasn't even necessary since he just LOST Malignaggi and was already KO'd by Marquez in their first fight. And Katsidis LOST to Diaz and Casamayor (another KO victim of Marquez)!!

Ha ha ha bullshi+. Even Freddie Roach said that Pac's best victory in his opinion was the second fight against Morales because he saw that Pac had made the transition from just a pure left-handed brawler to a complete fighter with power in both hands. And why the **** must every pac fanboy bring up the four knockdowns? It aint about getting knocked down, it's about whether you get up or not. If anything Marquez was more impressive in those fights (especially the first one) because even though he was dropped he still made it a competitive and close fight.
