haha why are u trying to ignore my question. u go and call me a casual fan so if your a true boxing fan how can u hate on a certain fighter so much? a true boxing fan is suppose to acknowledge the time and effort each pro boxer put to become a pro fighter that they are now. a true boxing fan is suppose to appreciate that. a true boxing fan is not suppose to call other fighter racist names, discredit him, etc. thats what casual fans do lol.. so your just a faker faking the funk. your not a true boxing fan your just a DADDYS BOY lol.

We good. I think people take my criticism of Floyd as a dislike for him when its the opposite. I hold him to a higher standard because of what I feel he is capable of which is why we differ on the term great win. May 2010 Mosley would have been a great win for ,say, Andre Berto, but when it comes from a fighter as great as Floyd Im far less impressed.

I feel you. And for the record, I criticized Floyd as hard as I criticized Manny when it was called for it. But Manny's drawing all my ire this year and he deserves it.

I agree with both of you....

Now that Manny is on top, he deserves the praise AND "the ire". It is natural that the top dog gets the picking from the critics and fandom at the same time.

I think that Pacquiao now is in the milking-the-cow-mode before riding into the sunset.

So is Mosley, very obviously. And Marquez. And Mayweather.

It irks me that pac fans dont see that he is doing exactly the same thing that Floyd has been doing
they are both cherry picking their opponents and when faced with a real threat they make up excuses as to why they wont fight

People need to understand that just because floyd chooses to box doesnt mean he is scared or that he runs
and just because manny likes to brawl more doesnt mean he sucks
                they are two different styles
Floyd is on vacation for whatever ****** reason he has so he isnt even a thought in my mind
manny is the one picking another done fighter
I would really like to see him fight berto then JMM
I think Berto can catch him and put him to sleep and I truly beleive that if he fights JMM a third time he finishes him within 5 rounds
he is way too much for JMM right now

There is no reason to give Manny praise for his actions this year. Maybe last year and - if you check my posts before he started coming up with BS regarding testing - I was giving him plenty of praise. But this year he's done nothing but fleece the public and looks to continue that trend next year. And I'm not an idiot who says "Oh, I'll just keep paying for BS because I know one day he's going to give me a good fight." He's a fighter, not my father.

Dude, the only difference b/w Fraud and Pac; is that when Fraud claims he is the greatest - he goes on vacation. Pac doesn't claim that he is the greatest, only history can prove that; Pac just fights. And lets the chips fall where they may. IMO, history will prove that Fraud May-never was a good boxer, but an exceptional braggart & megalomaniac.

I understand your stance on these matters, I really do. I still have the old-school in me likewise.

But I am somewhere in-between. Sure this year, Pac has fought Clottey and Margarito, he is indeed milking-the-cow. I do feel mixed emotions on these.

But so did Mayweather and Marquez in their last 3 fights. Well Mayweather's two last fight with Marquez and Mosley were also a gimme-fight.

Thus I am kind of disgusted with boxing nowadays.

What were unquestioned - were their capabilities. It would only be to my own selfish reasons to see all of them in the same weight divisions, in their prime....and all into it in hard core boxing.

Imagine that. But along comes to play are the boxing promoters to make their buck. Lotsa bucks!

Ok at least we're not buying them all totally.
