Pascal is going to do enough to win most of the rounds.

They had a good fight plan against Dawson and their team appears to be smart enough to get a good one ready for Hopkins too.

ha, koing eh...well someone better tell pascal that.cause he's going for broke against popskins!!!

pascal just fought a guy who hit's harder and is faster than pascal. And they are fighting in Quebec city!!! in front of 20 000 fans. pascal is young and well trained with good defense and decent power. Hopkins is experienced but i think time catches up cause as soon as pascal knows Hopkins can't hurt him and pascal fight's at the same pace Hopkins fights dude is done!

Pascal by UD with knock downs against Pops!

The winner of this fight will face dawson in 2011, Dawson will be back on top of LHW division.

his pad work was bad, hes hitting it hard but. when the coach puts the pad up bhop pauses a couple seconds before he punches. that delay is bad. im taught as soon as the coach put up the pads you attack. its like you in the ring and you see an opening and you wait too long to pull the trigger. ala mosley vs floyd. the pads up at lest a second n half before hopkins hits it. and coach threw a shot to his body and he didnt react to it at all. not only that but he was calling out drills and hop didnt do it right. i know hes 45 or something but hes fighting for a world title. that workout didnt impress me at all. those little things i can see him having a problem when he fight pascal. or any live opponent

Hopkins is one of my favorite fighters, but he's looking old now. I think he'll be lucky to get a decision. He would have easily beat this guy 5 years ago.

I wouldn't look too much into that. Surely it doesn't actually take him 1-2 seconds to pull the trigger when he sees openings and therefore it's likely just the way he hits the pads. Here's a vid from his middleweight days and you can see that there's a similar delay when the pads go up:

I hope you are right. I would hate to see Bernard retire on a loss to a guy like Pascal. No disrespect to Pascal, but it is what it is.
One way or another, just to see a 45 year old man in that condition and training at that level is extraordinary.
